our story
Built on the
People Behind
the Equipment.
Harvest Oilfield Service Inc. started with a single steam truck and a simple belief: that the people you send to location matter more than any spec sheet.
Since 2005
HOW IT STARTED.
WHY IT STICKS.
Harvest Oilfield Service Inc. began in 2005 in Central Alberta — one truck, one operator, and one standard: if we're going to be on your location, we're going to earn our place there.
In year two, we shifted focus from steam trucks to mobile boilers and began expanding across Western Canada. The fleet grew. The service territory grew. But the founding conviction never changed: healthy investment in people, equipment, and community produces better outcomes than anything else.
Today, Harvest operates across a 2,900,000 km² territory spanning Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan — with a fleet ranging from 30 to 800 HP, serving some of Canada's most recognized energy operators.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not as a marketing claim — as a field reality.
what drives us
No Greatness
Without Goodness.
The principles behind the Harvest way aren't written on a poster in a boardroom. They show up at 5am on a cold well location in northern Alberta.
We invest in our operators because they're the ones who represent Harvest on location. Trained, certified, and proud of the standard they set. The equipment is only as good as the person running it.
ABSA certified. COR recognized. ISN and ComplyWorks registered. Safety isn't a compliance box: it's the foundation that every job is built on, from rigging in to rigging out.
The Harvest Helps program was born from the belief that a company is only as healthy as the communities it operates in. Giving back isn't a PR strategy, it's just who we are.
Stronger Together.
Focused Separately.
Harvest Oilfield Service Inc. is proud to operate alongside our sister company, JC Boiler Services Ltd. — a Nisku-based boiler inspection, repair, and certification specialist with over four decades of service to Alberta's industrial and commercial operators.
The two companies share a common foundation: deep boiler expertise, an uncompromising standard on safety, and a genuine commitment to keeping Alberta's energy operations running. But the focus of each is deliberately distinct.
We go to the work. Self-contained boiler units deployed anywhere across a 2,900,000 km² service territory — on-site utility heat for drilling programs, SAGD facilities, turnarounds, and abandonment projects. Rigged in and producing steam within minutes of arrival.
Keeping your permanent infrastructure compliant and online. ABSA and AQP certified annual inspections, field service and repairs, and parts availability for industrial and commercial boiler systems across Alberta. Operating out of Nisku with regional coverage.
Together the two companies cover the full spectrum of boiler services in Alberta — from the permanent plant to the remote wellsite. If your need falls outside what Harvest provides, there's a good chance JC Boiler is the right call.
